In 2026, The Los Alamos Faith and Science Forum invites you to our summer of celebration by continuing to examine issues at the interface of faith and science. Our thirteenth season will run from June 10th to August 12th.
These presentations collectively explore humanity’s deepest questions. The July presentations explore the finely tuned constants of the universe, described in the book Just Six Numbers that point toward a Creator for persons of faith. Another explanation is the possibility of a multiverse that is approached from a Christian perspective. Once the elementary structure of the universe is explored, we move on to explore religion through the lens of science. Did religion play a role in the survival of early man? Can human behavior be traced to our genetics? Can our senses be cross-wired during religious experiences? What is the origin of goodness among us? Can this “goodness” extend to environmental changes and how it affects others? We’ll explore how scriptures address these different topics.
A light dinner will be provided at 6 pm for all forums. The presentations will start at 6:30 pm and be followed by a question and answer session and table discussions. The location is the Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church (TOTH), 3900 Trinity Dr, Los Alamos, NM 87544.
